James and Emma have always been best friends-bound by a deep, unspoken connection and playful banter that keeps their friendship light. They share everything: laughter, inside jokes, and the occasional flirtatious comment that neither of them takes too seriously-at least not outwardly. One ordinary night, after a dinner full of laughter and future plans, their lives are shattered by a devastating accident. Emma is left fighting for her life in the hospital, and James is wracked with guilt, torn between hope and despair as he waits for her to wake up. As he sits by her bedside, memories of their friendship flood back, each moment laced with regret for the words he never said.
